Agricultural Fencing

Rural fencing is a different game — long runs, uneven ground, livestock to keep in and dogs to keep out. We use pressure-treated softwood on driven posts as standard, with oak or chestnut available for premium boundaries where longevity matters most.

Standard specs include 2 and 3 rail post and rail, C8/80/15 stock netting with a strand of barbed on top, and combined post-and-rail with mesh for keeping smaller animals contained.

Every quote is priced per metre with materials clearly itemised, so you can see exactly what you're getting.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you install post and rail for horses?+

Yes — 2 or 3 rail post and rail is our standard equestrian spec, with optional electric or stock netting inside to keep horses off the timber.

How much land can you fence in a day?+

For straight post and rail on cleared ground, a two-person team will comfortably do 80-120 metres per day. Stock netting on rough ground is slower.

Do you supply the materials?+

Yes. We source directly from timber merchants — pressure-treated softwood as standard, oak or chestnut on request.

Can you clear an old boundary first?+

Yes. We handle removal of old wire, posts and hedging as part of the quote, and dispose of everything responsibly.
